A dynamic abstraction of the 'Fountains Night Show'.
"When I first viewed and photographed the show, I was totally blown away by
my sensorial perception of greatness through this grandiose organisation of
water in movement, transformed by the laser lights, music, smoke and fire.
The choreographic way in which I captured images of the scene reflected
what I felt so intensely as I watched the show".
The fountains were the fruit of personal passion and an essential element in
the personnification of power by Louis XIV, the Sun King.
The intuitive imagery of Part I evolves from fountain to fountain,
vacillating between graphic and electric, whilst evoking the ephemeral.
Ultimately, we are led towards the perception of water infused with cosmic energy.
See Part II for the celestial sequel that follows.
