A cosmic 'mise en scène' placing the gods back in the sky.

"The closer I came to the water, the more I sensed another perspective that was celestial rather than terrestrial.....  Through the feeling of total immersion in

another universe, I began to photograph the statues in parallel

with abstract water imagery for the creation of the

theatrical compositions of

Part II of this project".

The mythological masterpieces of Versailles are another essential element in the personnification of power by Louis XIV, the Sun King.

In Part II, the gods of Versailles are placed into an alternative

extra-dimensional space, where water is in fusion with light,

evoking the invisible forces around us and

the vast intangible nature of

the order of things.

See Part III for examples of modular abstractions that may be incorporated into

the composite imagery of this project.
